The Yahoo! search egnine does use meta tags, but Google doesn't. The most important Keywords in Google are the ones that are used to link to your page from another page or the ones in the title. Each search egnine has their own way of deciding which webpages to index and how to rank them, so you may have to try asking about that specific search egnine or browse the help pages there. Seach links below.)And remember that it usually takes a few weeks (sometimes longer) before new sites appear in the listings so if you've just recently submitted you may have to be patient still.
